My Writing: Why You Should Be Excited for Top 3 ‘Head In The Clouds 2025’ Headliners

Head in the Clouds Festival 2025 just released their lineup. Excitedly, you rush to their website to see if your favorite 88Rising artists are performing. You hope to see Joji, Niki, and Keshi as the headliners for this year, only to see names you don’t know.

If you have no idea who the top 3 headliners listed for this upcoming Head in the Clouds Festival, then don’t worry. We got you covered and we’ll fill you up to speed, just a tiny bit. And then from there you can dive into a deep rabbit hole about these amazing artists.

King of Kpop, G-Dragon

Starting with the legendary artist from South Korea who is considered to be the “King of K-Pop”, G-Dragon. G-Dragon is part of a K-pop boy group BIGBANG and is a trendsetter in Kpop history. He created huge trends in South Korea such as airport fashion and fan light sticks, which is a huge thing in Kpop culture. His music ranges from pop, to hip-hop, to rock. If it’s gonna be your first time listening to his music, we suggest starting with his pop punk song ‘CROOKED’ and his recent release, ‘POWER’.

The Iconic Group, 2NE1

Moving onto one of  K-Pop’s most unique groups that we absolutely love, 2NE1. 2NE1 is a 4 member girl group with an “ugly” concept (that’s what their CEO at the time called them). CL is the main rapper and leader of the group with her bold makeup. Bom is the group’s vocal powerhouse. Minzy is their dancing machine. And Dara is the group’s visual and “variety show” member. Their two songs ‘I AM THE BEST’ and ‘FIRE’ are rightfully their most popular songs.

K-R&B Prince, DEAN

Moving onto South Korean R&B artist, DEAN. If you don’t love DEAN after listening to one song from him, we will be disappointed. His music and voice will literally send you to heaven, in a good way of course. DEAN has made many R&B hits in South Korea. He released new music after 4 years of hiatus in 2023. We would recommend listening to all his songs, but if we had to choose, we’d recommend listening to ‘D (Half Moon)’, ‘instagram’, ‘Die for You’, and ‘NASA.’ We know, we added 2 extra songs. But his songs are just so good. Literally love him.

Did we forget to tell you that G-Dragon, 2NE1, and DEAN have all been in a huge hiatus until now? Well then, that’s one more reason as to why you should be hyped for Head in the Clouds Festival 2025. So we hope this festival will become a festival you don’t want to miss.
